Bobbie Bergquist, of Rindge, NH, is a quilt maker who strives to keep things simple, quick, and fun. In the professional world Bobbie took difficult, stressful tasks and simplified them to teach others. She now brings these same talents into the quilting world. Physical limitations created a need to modify popular traditional quilting methods into something easy to perform.  Realizing that she was not alone, Bobbie has shared her techniques with others having medical limitations and has found that even quilters without limitations also enjoyed using these techniques. What was a necessary modification for one made quilting easier and less stressful for all. When Bobbie wanted to make a stained glass quilt, her husband, Joel Bergquist, hand painted the fabric to be used in this quilt. “Appliqué for Cheaters” is an extension of this simple way to make stained glass quilts developed by Bobbie and her son, Brian. Bobbie will also share with her class how to make perfect mitered corners on bindings. She has taught at “American Quilter's Society, Teach America to Quilt,” Quiltfest and conducts workshops and seminars at many quilt shows across the continental US and Hawaii. Joel and Brian of Quilters Treasure provide the hand-painted marbled fabric used in many of her stained glass quilts. She was the visionary that saw the need for Quilters Treasure to produce their own line of a commercial print of this uniquely beautiful fabric, making larger cuts and lower prices available for commercial and hand painted fabric.  Website: www.quilterstreasure.com
